GOAL

Improve the treatment completion and nutritional status among the enrolled TB patients

OBJECTIVES

To improve nutritional status and treatment outcome of TB Patients as defined by the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) from 2 high prevalent districts of Madhya Pradesh

SUMMARY

The project provides nutrition-rich food baskets, undertakes home visits to conduct counseling sessions, carries out positive deviance sessions, and links the eligible patients with the government's direct benefit transfer schemes.


The project aims to achieve the following outcomes: 

• Successful completion of TB treatment

• Adequate weight gain of at least 6 (six) kgs

• Averting deaths among the enrolled patients

• Improvements in productivity of TB patients
