GOAL
To increase the demand, distribution and uptake of COVID-19 vaccination, particularly among the vulnerable and marginalized populations
OBJECTIVES
- To increase demand for and distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized populations.
- To support the efforts of the government of India in COVID-19 vaccine deployment.
SUMMARY
The project works towards increasing the demand for and distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized populations. The project is supporting the GOI’s nationwide COVID-19 vaccine deployment efforts in the following areas: vaccine planning and prioritization for equitable delivery; supply chains and logistics; service delivery and use, including delivery modalities; health workforce expansion and capacity building; community engagement, demand generation and risk communication; and surveillance, vaccine safety, monitoring, and evaluation.
