Gaiters are a stretchy piece of fabric that people often pull up to cover their nose and mouth. While many people are using gaiters and face shields  instead of face masks as a personal protective gear, this poster clarifies that there is no evidence yet on their effectiveness. It can be displayed in healthcare facilities and pharmacies to create awareness around the importance of using face masks rather than other substitutes.
