by Learning4impact 7 min read

The Global Strategy for Women's, Children's and Adolescents' Health (2015–2030) has recognized adolescence as a critical life stage, with its own unique health challenges. India has been at the forefront of designing adolescent health programs, yet reaching them with health services remains a challenge. This factsheet summarizes the health challenges of adolescents in India, based on an analysis of national data sets. This data can readily inform both national and state policy and implementation for adolescent health programs.
