The Government of India has been endeavouring to strengthen the Universal Immunization program and expand its reach. The comprehensive multi year plan (2018-2022) was designed as a vision document to help achieve the goal of 90% vaccination, thereby reducing mortality and morbidity caused by vaccine preventable diseases. This document can be used to compare plan vs actual achievements and course correct in the penultimate year of the strategic plan. It can also be used by policy makers to build a plan for the next five years.  Click here to access the document.
