The H6 partnership (formerly H4+) is a collaboration of the UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women, WHO, UNAIDS, and the World Bank Group to advance the Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) Global Strategy and support country leadership and action for women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health. In 2016, the UN decided to accelerate health-related Sustainable Development Goals. To this end, it established a Global Strategy for Women’s and Children’s Health to spur progress. This Toolkit guides a user through the implementation of the Global Strategy through evidence-based planning and implementation tools. The Toolkit includes material to review and assess the current state of health strategies and gender inclusion; plan, cost, and budget; facilitate community engagement; manage drug supply for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health, and adolescent health services; monitor and evaluate health programs; and monitor health workforce efficiency.
