The Global Action Plan (GAP) is committed to help countries accelerate progress in achieving health-related SDGs. It focuses on existing health architectures to enable purposeful and systematic collaboration amongst the 12 agencies of the 12 member countries. Instead of focusing on using the funding to leverage collaboration, it promotes cultural change which is challenging to achieve but is also more sustainable in the long run. This Progress Report highlights the four key GAP commitments categorized as Engage, Accelerate, Account, and Align. It can help implementers strengthen their health program designs towards the achievement of SDGs.
