The COVID-19 pandemic has incapacitated health systems not just in India, but globally as well. The ongoing pandemic has also enhanced the need for universal health coverage more than ever before. This study uses the World Health Organization's framework of six health system building blocks to arrive at the lessons learnt and action points for post pandemic management of the public health system in India. The study also makes recommendations on the steps the government could take to ensure a stronger healthcare system going forward. It can be useful for policy makers. Click here to access the study.
