Many ICMR-accredited private laboratories in the country tested for and continue to push for SARS-CoV-2. However, these laboratories need to follow specific guidelines for testing the samples. The ICMR has provided some recommendations and guidelines to private laboratories for RT-PCR COVID-19 testing. This document has a list of those guidelines as well as a list of ICMR-accredited laboratories.
