Report on TB Control Program for LGBTQH Community

In an effort to raise TB prevention and cure awareness amongst the oft underserved minority LGBTQH community, Kolkata Rista launched a TB control program under the THALI umbrella. This Report provides an overview of the actives undertaken during the program, including a meeting which was attended by members of the LGBTQH Community, officials of the Revised National Tuberculoses Program (RNTCP) & representatives from THALI. This meeting was organized to understand and explore the possibility of integrating LGBTQH communities into the TB elimination program and the current challenges faced by them in receiving TB care services. This brief report can provide guidance for other public and private organizations seeking to include minority communities in their programs.
