Report of the 7th Global Vaccine Safety Initiative (GVSI) Meeting

10 Jan 2021

The Global Vaccine Safety Initiative, or GVSI, was set up to implement the Global Vaccine Safety Blueprint- a set of indicators to ensure that all countries have at least a minimal capacity for vaccine safety. This comprises a framework of eight strategic objectives aimed at building and supporting vaccine pharmacovigilance in all low- and middle-income countries. This report sets out the agenda, discussions, ideas on the progress of vaccine safety measures amongst the participating nations. The information from GVSI and this report can help ensure adequate and proactive vaccine safety measures during mass immunizations.
