Postpartum family planning is the initiation and use of family planning to prevent unintended pregnancy too soon after childbirth. Such a pregnancy could be harmful to the health of mother or breastfeeding baby. This video highlights that in the postpartum period couples can choose from the various contraceptive options available. This resource can be used by ASHA/ANM and other health workers.
