Pneumonia and Diarrhea Progress Report 2020

Pneumonia and diarrhea are leading killers of children under the age of five, claiming the lives of more young children globally than any other infectious disease. This report tracks progress towards the 10 key indicators in 15 countries with the highest mortality burden of pneumonia and diarrhea in children under 5. These 10 indicators are evaluated and summarized into an Overall GAPPD score. The comparative data of progress in 15 countries can help provide insights into the achievements and need for accelerating child immunization and feeding programs to control this diseases.
