India is one of the twenty countries listed by WHO with the highest estimated number of incidents MDR-TB cases. This report reviews the programmatic management of drug-resistant tuberculosis (PMDT) component of the Revised National TB Control Programme, India. It outlines the achievements against the recommendations made in 2015, and also makes recommendations to better understand the drivers and burden of the DR-TB epidemic in India .
