New Immunization Strategies: Adapting to Global Challenges

Despite several immunization programs and an ecosystem to ensure equitable distribution, persisting inequities in vaccine uptake contribute to the continued occurrence and outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. This paper outlines possible immunization strategies, while adapting to global challenges. It recommends taking into into account emerging opportunities for building better immunization systems and services, as well as development of new vaccine products and delivery technologies. This resource can be used by state and central government health departments to consider new strategies to strengthen their immunization programs. Click here to read more.
