Neutrsophic Health Analysis in Times of COVID-19

07 Jul 2022
Emerging Pandemics

by Marcelo Viteri Villa, Lester Wong Vázquez, Roberto Zúñiga Viteri 30 MIN

The current COVID-19 pandemic is a threat, and researchers are working together to discover a cure. Due to the pandemic's rapid evolution, daily updates on the number of sick and fatal cases are now available. To date, several approaches and therapies have been employed to lessen its effects. There is now no effective cure for it, which leads to uncertainty, social panic, and negative effects on the population's mental health as a result of the dread of infection and mortality. Because of this, the current work's analysis and determination of the choices for the management of pandemic detection through the processing of the neutrosophic TOPSIS approach are this study’s main objectives. The examination of neutralities in the research of indeterminacies in the field of medicine offers numerous advantages. Neutrosophic processing enabled the discovery of the most effective countermeasure to COVID-19. The spread of COVID-19 has been catastrophic for the entire world, but especially for Latin America. It has brought to light structural disparities in health systems, equity, a lack of strengthening in primary health care, and the need for investment in the provision of protective equipment for medical personnel. The creation of a national health system from the ground up with a clear focus on universalizing primary care and the implementation of epidemiological surveillance systems, to curb the contagion until the majority of the population is immunized and effective treatment is found has been defined as an alternative by the modeling of the neutrosophic TOPSIS method.
