Multi-Sectoral Framework for TB-Free India

26 Jun 2020

The framework for a TB-Free India emphasizes a ‘Multi-sectoral Action’ plan with the help of 6 strategic action areas to eradicate TB. It recognizes that the responsibility of eradicating TB cannot lie with the government alone. Private sectors, civil society organizations and other stakeholders have to take part actively. Apart from outlining the possible inputs and expected outcomes, the framework also delineates possible ways to collaborate, the resources required and the lessons learned from past experiences. This document will be helpful for policymakers, social enterprises, and civil society organizations.
