The National Strategic Plan (NSP) for Tuberculosis in India (2017-2025) has placed emphasis on both the need for decentralized sample collection and quality care and monitoring for TB as part of one of its four strategic pillars of Detect-Treat-Prevent-Build. The THALI Project of the Karnataka Health Promotion Trust (KHPT) has developed 2 innovations - the Specimen Collection and Transportation System (SCT) and the TB Careline - which have been exemplary additions to the TB care continuum. These innovation briefs describe the pilot, operations, and outcomes of both the SCT and the Careline. These briefs can assist other implementers and health program designers to pilot and scale similar programs.
