While inclusion as an objective is inherent in development sector efforts, different sector actors are currently at different stages of their inclusion journey and facing a diverse set of challenges. Some stakeholders may be concerned about identifying and reaching the ‘last mile’ or ‘base of pyramid’ populations with their intervention, others may be struggling to recruit and retain a diverse workforce, measure their coverage of different groups, or include an inclusion lens across the project cycle. Wherever you are on this inclusion journey, the Inclusive Development Resource Guide aims to support your efforts.
The Experts Directory is a database of individuals and organizations who have experience working on inclusion in health programs in India broadly, or who have specific expertise working with one of the six priority groups: people with disabilities, married adolescents, Scheduled Castes, urban poor, sexual and gender minorities (LGBTQ+) or Scheduled Tribes. If you are looking for support on strengthening inclusion in your programs, you can reach out to these experts.
