India's health workers form the backbone of the country's Universal Immunization Program.  They play a key role in successful implementation of the program across the length and breadth of the nation. They are the first point of contact of the immunization delivery system. Through this handbook, the Government aims to build their knowledge and skills in key aspects of immunization.
