Ayushman Bharat (AB) is a government health initiative to provide comprehensive public healthcare services including preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitate, and palliative care through Health and Wellness Centres (HWC) to deliver Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC). The WISH Foundation has assisted state governments in establishing HWCs through its Technology-enabled HWC initiative (THWCi). This booklet provides a detailed background of the AB-HWCs scheme, the components, and varieties of THWCi being implemented by the WISH foundation in various states. This handbook can assist implementers and state health departments to establish HWCs in other parts of the country.
