Global Tuberculosis Report 2019

26 Jun 2020
Tuberculosis

by WHO 180 min read

All UN Member States have committed to ending the global TB epidemic by 2030, backed by concrete milestones and targets. Considerable progress has been made by many countries to improve access to TB prevention and care and increased financing. However, there is still a need for a more concentrated and targeted effort to combat the disease. The report provides an overview of the global goals and indicators, micro-strategies for treatment and prevention services, as well as avenues for financing amongst other things. This report will guide the development of the national TB program and provide support with resource allocation strategies.
