by WHO 90 min read

There is an urgent need to provide for women, children, and adolescents with clean air and water,  good quality health services and education, adequate sanitation, and good nutrition to meet the SDGs. The updated strategy for women, children, and youth focuses on reducing preventable deaths by creating an enabling environment for health and wellbeing. The updated strategy includes suggestions for health system interventions and multi-sector enablers. The strategy approaches these problems using the lens of human rights, equity, and gender. This report can aid policy and program design for maternal, child, and adolescent health.
