Gender Assessment Tool for Organizations of People with Disabilities

16 Nov 2020

This Gender Assessment Tool (GAT) has been developed to support capacity building in Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (DPOs) and is based on existing good practices. It aims to support discussions and raise awareness on gender issues along with promoting gender inclusion analyses, gender inclusion issues, and practices within the organization in a systematic way. In addition, it identifies areas of improvement, outlines support needed from Action on Disability and Development (ADD), and other sources; it also tracks the progress of gender inclusion over a period of time. The tool poses relevant questions for DPOs to help them promote gender inclusion.
