Family Planning Indicators in Four High Priority States

The GoI’s Mission Parivar Vikas focuses on supplying contraceptive services to 146 high fertility districts to supply high-quality FP services. The program focuses on young and low parity couples (15-24) who are the largest contributors to fertility. This paper suggests how supply chains can be strengthened to deliver beyond condoms and sterilization so that families can adopt healthy behaviors with the intervention of existing contraceptive services. This resource will help policymakers, social enterprises, and funders who are involved in FP services at the state and national levels.
