Empowering Female Workforce Through Adequate Investments

The global health workforce has the potential to employ and economically empower women across lower and middle-income countries. Women already comprise 70% of the workforce and provide a majority of social care even in an unpaid capacity. This brief from the Frontline Health Workers Coalition identifies key steps to addressing gender inequities and enabling women to lead the effort to achieve the SDGs and ensure Universal Health Coverage.
