This research conducted by IPE Global through project PAHAL provides data to showcase the extent, causes, and implications of the high unmet need for family planning methods (especially modern contraceptives) for the urban poor women of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The primary data collected highlights that the unmet need is high and can have a direct impact on the population, female reproductive health, maternal and child health, and pregnancy-related morbidity. The research and data can be helpful for policymakers, healthcare researchers, and organizations working in the area of family planning.
