For India, uninterrupted delivery of RMNCH services is an important aspect of achieving the "health for all goals" set under the SDGs. This report provides an overview of the coverage of RMNCH services, status of early childhood mortality with reference to SDG-3, voluminous demand of select RMNCH services, and the availability of healthcare professionals across states in India. It also provides a glimpse of evidences on considerable decline in the access to select RMNCH services during the COVID-19 pandemic induced lockdown in the country, highlights the coverage of reports in the media on the deprivation engendered by COVID-19 on RMNCH, and offers suggestions to strengthen the existing system to address the present crisis in the long-run. The findings of this study can provide important insights to policy makers for ensuring continued RMNCH services. Click here to read the report.
