Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is a necessity for inculcating healthy behaviors and preventing the spread of diseases such as HIV and other STIs; moreover, it is part of holistic education and therefore an inalienable right of all young people. This brief reviews the state of CSE in 11 countries in Asia by examining national policies and programs and their implementation by various stakeholders. It also recommends policy and structural modifications that can make CSE more widespread and effective for the target population. This brief can inform policies, health programs, education programs, and CSE interventions by the government, civil society, and social enterprises.
