by U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) OVER 1 HOUR

This strategy provides an overarching framework for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) global response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The CDC strategy aligns with U.S. National Security Strategic goals to protect the American people and ensure U.S. health security by mitigating the spread of infectious disease threats abroad, ending the pandemic, and building resilience and readiness for future pandemics. The updated CDC strategy also aligns with the U.S. COVID-19 Global Response and Recovery Framework released in July 2021. The updated U.S. framework has five main objectives.
