Answering ASHA's Questions on DMPA

UNFPA India is assisting the Government of India in roll out of new contraceptives, including injectable contraceptives, and in ensuring high quality services. This publication addresses the questions frequently asked by ASHAs, similar frontline health worker or volunteer on injectable contraceptives (DMPA).  This documentation is aimed at helping ASHA/community workers to provide correct information on DMPA/ Injectable Contraceptive and enabling women to make informed choices. The questions contained in this document have been compiled on the basis of questions or concerns raised by ASHAs from different states during field-level interactions.
