In September 2020, the World Health Organization, with the advice of the CSCS Task Force, commissioned an assessment of the COVID-19 Supply Chain System (CSCS) focused on three main areas: strategy, implementation and moving forward. Incorporating key stakeholder interviews, a desk review, input from over 100 survey respondents, and a quantitative data review. The findings were pressure-tested with a Joint Steering Group and several stakeholders. This report is a documentation of the resulting analysis which provides lessons learned and recommendations for future management of the supply chain. This document can be used by policy makers and program designers to strengthen the supply chain which will further help to strengthen the health systems. Click here to read the assessment document.
