India and Indonesia are two of the most important emerging economies of Asia, with both facing the dual burden of disease. This research compares the health system strengthening activities adopted by India and Indonesia using parameters from WHO's Building Blocks Framework. A systematic review, using qualitative methods, the research documents achievements as well as best practices adopted by both nations. The recommendations on what India could adopt from Indonesia's experience could be useful for those designing healthcare programs for states and districts. The research paper can be accessed here.
