ACT- A Prioritized Funding Strategy

The Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator released its Strategy and Budget for 2021 focusing on key achievements, priorities in 2021 and funding gaps. The GFF is a partner in the ACT-A’s Health Systems Connector (HSC), co-led by the Global Fund, the World Bank, and WHO, working to ensure that COVID-19 tools can reach the people who need them. As part of GFF’s fundraising efforts, one of the largest investments will be for additional support to roll out the COVID-19 tools while protecting essential health services and strengthening health systems. This document can be used by health system planners to identify priorities and the funding gap for 2021, complementary activities and investments, and the economic case for investing in the ACT-Accelerator.
