Access to RCH Services During COVID-19 Crisis

04 Jun 2021

An ongoing COVID-19 knowledge, attitudes and practices study implemented by the Population Council Institute in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh sought to assess the access to RCH services by female participants. In particular, participants were asked if they had access to reproductive and child health services during the lockdown - antenatal care, family planning, child immunization and nutritional services. The results show that only 24% women wanted access to family planning services, whereas 52% wanted nutrition services. The data as well as the reasons for lack of access would help implementers draw future plans for these services. Click here to access the overview of results.
